About the event

If you always wanted to learn some painting techniques and create an abstract artwork but didn’t know where to start, this in-person workshop is for you!

Zsike has spent many years discovering tools and techniques to incorporate into her abstract paintings. You’ll learn a solid foundation of secret artistic skills which are the building blocks to allow your natural creativity to flow! 

Build layers with acrylics and a selection of painting techniques. See your original art evolve! These skills can be incorporated into any style of art - abstract, figurative, still life, and landscape.

In this workshop you’ll learn: * Create with Paint Washes * Painting Effects, Palette Knife * Using Sponges * Colours - Warms and Cools * Building Layers * Changing Direction of Your Painting

You’ll be creating an Abstract Painting from building layers using these effects. Even if you have never painted before, you will be able to create your own artwork using these simple and easy to use techniques!

Who is this workshop for: For beginners and intermediates who wish to add to their skillset and have fun!

All art materials, including canvas and paint, will be supplied.

Workshop length: 3 hours

Location: artist's home

Some snacks and refreshments will be provided, but feel free to bring along your own.

Cost: £85 per person. Limited to 5 participants only!
